Metriks slate switch plates are all individually hand-cut from genuine New England slate roofing tiles. All the colours are naturally occurring so variations and inclusions are common. The New England slate that we use has a higher tenacity than most decorative slates giving us a product that is both desirable and durable. All switch plates are guaranteed against breakage and are guaranteed to fit all regular light switch covers.
